Dear Judges, I was beyond excited for my senior year to start. I’ve been looking forward to this day for as long as I can remember. I was nervous and anxious for the senior project, but as time has gone on, I’ve realized it’s not that difficult and that it's going to help me in the future. I’ve always been good about getting homework done on time and usually always getting a good grade on it. The reason why I strive to get good grades is because I have to if I want to continue to play sports and to graduate. Growing up, there wasn't much volunteering to do, but in my years of high school I've enjoyed helping out with the community as much as I can. I’m a people person; I like socializing and working in collaborative groups, so that’s how I chose what job shadows to do. Overall, this project made me get out of my comfort zone and made me become a more organized individual. I will take a lot away from this town and school, and the community made me the person I am today. I’m so glad I grew up in a small and loving community, and I wouldn't want to have it any other way. I am beyond grateful for attending this school for the last twelve years of my life, and this town will always have a big part in my heart. I would like to thank you judges for taking time out of your day to read my portfolio and hear my presentation.
